Gimme Polka Dots

You either love them or hate them. When it comes to me- I love polka dots big or small. Polka dots are a classic print that will never go out of style. This print was very popular in the 1920's to 1960's from dresses, tops, and swimsuits. Polka dots now aren't all the rage but their definitely a wardrobe must have.

Style Tip: If a polka dress is to much polka dot for you- try wearing a blouse with this print. Pair the blouse with a pencil skirt for a great outfit for the office. If you want a more casual approach wear a polka dot skirt with a denim top- like I wore here. 

Polka dots are retro and retro is in. I took this retro print and wore it in a modern way in this bodycon dress from Lovesick. This dress itself has a va-va-voom quality so minimal accessories were key. I wore a white belt to emphasize my waist and pointy toe heels to elongate my legs. I completed the look with round sunnies to keep up with the retro element the print has.
