    Culottes?

Culottes were a short girl's nightmare once upon a time ago. Now I feel anyone can wear them with just a simple trick. I tend to break fashion rules because I can and you can too! One of those rules are that short women should not wear culottes because they can make you look shorter. The trick is so simple- the best way to add height is with a pair of heels or wedges. The heels elongate your legs and balance out the length of the culottes.I've always been curious about culottes. I love the wide flowy design and they can be super casual or can also be dressed up. I…

    Bell Sleeve Sweater

Happy Sunday my lovelies! I hope you're all having a great weekend and are relaxing today.  Lately, it has been so chilly in LA, I just want to cuddle with my dog in bed all day every day. I know its winter but I feel like it's been unusually cold for LA. But, I won't let this chilly weather interfere with my style.I told myself, this year I would be a little adventurous with my wardrobe. This bell sleeve sweater is doing its job. I love how dramatic the sleeves are and the cropped design. It's a fun top with lots of movement and keeps me warm this winter. I paired…

Welcome 2017! I know I'm a little behind but I'm happy to say this is my 1st blog of the year. I'm soo excited for this New Year. I have many goals I want to accomplish and do so many new things. This year I also want to step up my game with my style. I really want to focus on pieces with character. What does that mean? I want to find great pieces that are edgy and add drama to my look. This blouse is definitely doing its job, it adds that drama quality I want to my overall outfit. I love the cape design witch sasses up an ordinary button…

    Uneven Hems & LaceUps

One of this years biggest trends was the lace-up top and I have to say one of my favorites too. I wanted lace-up everything and still do! Even though we are about to enter a new year with new trends making their way, I don't see this trend going away anytime soon. I do think we should mix it up.I mixed things up by pairing this lace-up top from Fashion Nova Curve with a mesh bodysuit. Together I feel they create a cool and edgy top. A pair of uneven hem jeans (which made for a fun and easy DIY project- click here) and single strap heels put this whole look…

    Underwear As Outerwear

Okay, I'm not actually wearing my underwear. I just thought this was a catchy tittle because I'm wearing this Who What Wear skirt that looks like a slip. I love the idea of wearing your lingerie as an everyday outfit. I'm not talking about literally walking outside in your undies. It's about taking these elements into your wardrobe- like wearing a slip dress with a sweater, sheer top with bra, or a sheer skirt with high-waisted panties.A slip skirt is very sexy and feminine- that's why I paired the skirt with a graphic tee and moto jacket to add a hint of edge to the look. I have to say,…
