Spotty Print

I never get tired of wearing polka dots. They’re the cutest and have always had a retro vibe. What I adore about it most is that it adapts to every season. This fashionable spotty print has always been around but we are seeing it everywhere this spring. I see polka dots in midi skirts, organza blouses, from large dots to small dots.

Since the skirt has a high waist, I styled it with a cropped blouse. The ruffle details around the blouse adds a little flirty fun to the outfit. I grabbed my go to Spring open toe sandals with a chunky wood heel to play off the colors and completed this look with a flat-top hat.

This outfit instantly gives me a western vibe. I couldn’t say what exactly is western about this skirt because I’m sure women were not wearing polka dots in the late 1800’s. Maybe it’s the fullness and length of the skirt that gives me that western element or maybe the hat.
